MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
A large deciduous tree. Leaves are elliptic and base narrowed into petiole. Flowers are pedicellate, white coloured, fragrant and arranged in racemes in terminal drooping panicles. Fruits are capsule and on stout decurved pedicels.
The roots and bark are used in atrophy, cholera; diarrhoea, fevers, gout inflammations, malaria, menstrual complains and snake bite treatment.
