MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
A glabrous, aromatic, herbaceous annual 30-90 cm in height; leaves decompounds, lower one long petioled and upper ones short petioled or sub-sessile, imparipinnatisect into liner setaceous lobes; flower small, white or pinkish purple in compound terminal umbels; fruits yellowish brown, globular and ridded, separating into two halves each containing a seed.
The Leaves and Fruits of Coriander is used for hiccough, inflammations, suppuration, jaundice, stomachic, digestive and are useful in vitiated conditions of pitta, burning sensation cough dysentery and intermittent fever, rheumatism and giddiness.
