MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Common Cinhona is a small tree that can reach up to 16m tall. The leaves measure 7-28cm x 2.5-13cm, hairless and with domatia beneath. The flowers are 8-17mm long, with hairless sepal and yellowish-white to fleshy colored or red petal. The fruit is up to 25mm long, smooth or sparsely hairy.
The medicinal plant Common Cinhona is used for making tablet for malariya (Chloroquine tablets) and bark is used for skin dieseases.
